Wedding Date on Mar 30, 2019

Mitchell and I have gone to school together since 6th grade in 2006. We became friends senior year of high school while we were both dating other people. It wasn't until the beginning of sophomore year in college when we were reunited. We met eyes in a dining hall on campus at UNC Charlotte and started talking to each other through a mutual friend about a month later or October 6, 2014 to be exact. We started going on dates, which included going to the lake, to the Hornets inaugural basketball game back in Charlotte, a Gamecocks football game, and various restaurants. We started meeting each other's families and having a great time getting to know each other and bonding over our similar pasts. On February 12, 2015 we officially became a couple at the lake where we celebrated by going to the Riverbanks Zoo. We've been through so much together in our 3+ years together. We have laughed, cried, gained our dog Rhett, mourned some of our dearest family members and childhood pets, we both graduated college, we have traveled together and gotten new jobs. Then on February 10, 2018 we got engaged! Mitchell surprised me with a sweet day planned where I got to travel to meaningful places in our relationship with my cousin Kaelyn and see our best friends at each destination. I ended up back at our "future home" site where our friends were lined up, greeted me with roses, and Mitchell proposed. He had the whole day perfectly planned and I was so surprised! It was a dream come true!
