From the bride: "Cameron and I went to high school together but he was the grade above me so we never really hung out! He went to Texas Tech when he graduated high school and his last semester there was my first semester there. He was transferring to The University of Arkansas. He was dating someone at the time and we were just friends. He always jokes because we were hanging out at a party one of his last nights in Lubbock and it got a little chilly so he lent me a sweatshirt. Because I knew he was leaving (and thought I would probably never see him again) I washed and returned it the next day and he thought that was unbelievable. After he transferred that next summer we ran into each other at a gas station in our home town. I invited him to a (fake) party that I made my friend throw last minute to hang out with him. We then were making the LONGGG 9 hour drive to see each other about once a month, alternating, to and from Lubbock and Fayetteville. Fast forward 3 years and after we both graduated college we both moved back to Dallas and moved in together. We have a dog named Bruce, he's the sweetest! August 2018 was when Cameron proposed, our 5 year anniversary! We took a trip to Park City, Utah and were on a hike when he popped the question!"
