Wedding Date on Mar 9, 2019

James and Alex met at their alma mater - The University of Tennessee - through mutual friends and their love of competitive intramural sports. It was not until James graduated and moved back to their hometown that they became close friends. A friendship built from two years of texting and talking on Facebook Messenger led to their leap into a long-distance relationship. The distance was eventually resolved and the rest is history. James proposed on June 30, 2018 at the location of their first date (Melting Pot in Nashville, TN) and they got married in Knoxville, TN (where they met and began their lives together) on their 5-year dating anniversary of March 9, 2019.
