Boho style wedding of David and Yeva at the Willow Ballroom in Hood, CA on September 10, 2017. This was my first time shooting a wedding at the Willow Ballroom. I had no idea that this small town called Hood even existed. It was only 23 minutes away from my neighborhood. The venue doesn't look like much from the outside but it's definitely got something unique on the inside. I really love how the designers/florists from Blooming Mira Designs created a stunningly beautiful work of art on the tables that worked so well together with the industrial style venue. I loved capturing every detail. The flower arrangements with the vintage gold silverware and candles on the real wood tables made the scene look so picturesque. The ceremony was also beautifully designed with candles on the floor and an elegant arch decorated with gorgeous flowers and foliage. It was a dark setting which created a mood of intimacy, perfect for a beautiful wedding ceremony for David and Yeva. We had to use our lights during the ceremony, for the first time ever, but it worked great for fill light since the backdrop was overexposed. David and Yeva were so great to work with and looked stunning all day. You can hear in the film how their vows to each other were so heartfelt, authentic and full of love.
