Will and Dana met in 2019 and while not exactly sure about each other at first they soon became inseparable.
In 2021 they purchased their dream property with a back paddock. The perfect spot for a wedding.
As their special day came closer the obstacles started to appear in their path.
Dana's maid of honour tested positive for COVID the week of the wedding and was forced in to isolation. With another friend stepping in to the role 3 days before the wedding.
Two days before the wedding the marquee was setup on their property, the tables and decorations done. That night over 100mm (4 inches) of rain fell, flooding their property. With the help of a friend who 'knows a guy' a new venue was found a day before the wedding.
The morning before the wedding the caterer was spooked by the forecast of more rain and cancelled on them. A local food truck came to the rescue with less than 24 hours notice.
Despite all of these obstacles Will and Dana had a magical day! The raw emotion when they saw each other for the first time. The smiles that couldn't be removed.
The sun had been hidden by clouds all day but just as the portraits were about to wrap up the sun shone through for a beautiful sunset just for Will and Dana.
