Wedding Date on May 8, 2021

One day after class in the fall of 2014, Vicki and her friends from pharmacy school went to a local bar in Gaithersburg, MD for happy hour. A mutual friend, Mark invited Alex to attend, and he begrudgingly agreed. Alex notoriously dislikes happy hours. This is where Vicki & Alex first met. The night was great but they didn’t see each other again until the summer of 2015. They couldn’t seem to stay away from each other for very long. They spent the whole summer having fun and going to concerts. Before they knew it, they were official on September 12, 2015. Since then, there have been countless moments of laughter and silliness, and they’ve stuck by each other through it all. Four years later, Alex surprised Vicki by proposing at the Capitol Columns at the National Arboretum! A few months later, Vicki & Alex moved into their new townhouse in North Potomac and have been busy learning how to become new homeowners. When I asked them why they were deciding to get married they Vicki said “We decided to get married because we are each other’s best friends. We love spending time with each other, no matter what we’re doing, whether it’s traveling in a new country or sitting on the couch. We make a great team, and always find ways to compromise. We bring out the best in each other, and we make each other better people. Life is infinitely better when we are together!”
