The Proposal: Chris proposed to me at our house actually in July, 2022. I was not expecting it! We had talked about getting married one day but weren't in a rush and thought it would be another year or two before we got engaged. He actually invited my parents for dinner so they were present for the proposal. He put a silver plate on our dog that said will you marry daddy? I saw that, wondering what it was, read it, turned around and he was on one knee! It was a very happy day!

I (Bonnie) started Bonnie Newman Creative in 2016 after filming a friends wedding as a hobby. Pretty damn quickly, people wanted me at their weddings, and in 2017 I left my career in architecture to film weddings full time. I met Jon 10 years ago working at IKEA together, and our lives circled back around to each other in 2018, when we joined forces and added dope photography to our packages. Architects literally dream about the beautiful and emotional ways their buildings and spaces get used. Well, I get to cut through all the BS and red tape of designing a building, and get right to the beautiful and emotional stuff. I'm a huge fan of weddings that take advantage of stunning architecture, and couple's who aren't afraid to give me all the goods.
