Val and Niko's love story is so beautiful and special, and I'm so happy they incorporated so much of that into their wedding vows! They met at Anytime Fitness; Val worked there, and Niko was a frequent attendee. Niko noticed Val working and wanted to talk to her the second he saw her. Niko turned to his buddy and said he wanted her phone number but was too shy to approach her. Eventually, he stopped by her office to say hello. Val is a photographer, and to break the ice, Niko told her that he needed new headshots of himself, so he gave her his email address to start their connection! On their first date, they talked for hours; it was instant chemistry and effortless! Val ended up moving across the country almost immediately after this, so did a long-distance relationship for a few years, and met up everywhere around the country to see each other. Eventually, they moved together to Colorado and live happily with their two dogs! They describe themselves as complete opposites but fit together so perfectly!
