Georgia and Tom met online. They shared their first date in a local pub and Tom knew instantly she was going to be so special to him and now refers to her as his 'lobster' (a 'friends' reference meaning soul mate, if you didn't know!). It was May 2018 when Tom proposed to Georgia in Mykonos at sunset. "The easiest decision she has ever made".They compliment each other. They encourage each other and most importantly, they bring out each others best qualities and whole heartedly accept each other for who they are. And my goodness it shown on their wedding day. October 2020 saw the UK in the middle on an ongoing global pandemic with national lockdowns being thrown at us to constantly over come. For the wedding industry this was a time of cancellations, postponements and concern for the future. For Georgia and Tom? It was the perfect opportunity to LET. LOVE. WIN. COVID-19 cancelled a great number of things in 2020 but Georgia and Tom reminded us all that love was not, nor could it ever be cancelled so long as we choose to remember we have it. That it is all we have. I wanted their film to reflect just that. So that in years to come, they can show their children and their children's children just what an amazing thing they both did when the world stood still.
