Thao and Bonawyn are from New York, but decided to have a destination wedding in Southern California, where Thao's family is from the D.C area and Bonawyn's family is from the Bay area. Their chic garden wedding at the Hartley Botanica was escape from their usual fast paced life. Their intimate outdoor ceremony was held in the Lotus Tea Garden surrounded by lush trees, gardens and waterfalls. It was a beautiful sight to see, especially when Thao walked down the aisle in a stunning sleek V neck & back gown highlighting her natural beauty. Bonawyn was all smiles for his wife to be. After exchanging their vows, the newlyweds took some time for their romanic session around the 3 acres of rich greenery. During the cocktail hour, guests were whisked away by the serenity of peacocks the perennial flowers. Each were also given a pot of succulents and a pair of wooden chopsticks as party favors. Their reception was a night to remember! Thao and Bonawyn started their outdoor reception with a grand entrance wearing a traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai as part of Thao''s cultural heritage and blessed by a loud and festive Lion Dance. Instead of having a cake, they opted for their favorite slice of pie flown in from Hawaii. Between the toasts, dancing and late night snacks, guests were making it such a memorable day for Thao & Bonawyn. At the end of the night, Mr. and Mrs. Eison exited through a grand sparkler''s exit and hopped in a vintage Rolls Royce as they waved good-bye!
