She's from Hawaii, He's from Russia, and they first met in Beijing. Our own words can't begin to describe how beautiful and unique their story is and how honored we are to tell it. We would like for you to hear it from them yourself, the union of two cultures coming together as one. We will say that their wedding day was filled with moments that made you shiver. Their vows, her beautiful hula dance, her ceremony entrance! That one gave me chills as I'm from Hawai'i, so it kind of hit home. She was announced with the sound of the "PU" (a shell), the sound of the Ocean, followed by an "Oli", a chant by the officiant, smack dab between a magnificent backdrop of the Ko'olau Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean. Her mom walked her down the Isle and I swear we felt like we were witnessing the entrance of a Royal Hawaiian Princess. Hula dancing, two incredibly talented ukulele players, swing dancing classes, and a mix of Hawaiian and Russian food! So many memorable and unique aspects of the day that filled it with so much joy and laughter. The intro gives you a little peak into the surrounding area, like the well known Poi Factory and Kualoa beach, also their venue is located on the same property where they filmed Jurassic Park and other well known Hollywood movies! It was truly an honor to capture their wedding day and tell their epic love story.
