There is something to be said about a good sunset, but what about when the sun does set? This idea is what inspired Lexi - from Lexi Rabelo Films - to create a stunning editorial shoot around a nighttime ceremony. With florals and design by Katharina Events in an array of colors to match the Garden Bohemian vibes. I don’t know which detail I love more! This editorial shoot was based on the concept of the glorious colors experienced in Utah in the Spring. There are tones of peach, rosy pink, baby blues, and varias greens. We brought this color palette into every element of the decor and throughout each scene. Our petite wedding was set at the newly remodeled Arbor Manor in West Valley, Utah. The gardens there were the perfect place to set the scene. We wanted to combine the natural beauty of the garden and a young sophisticated couple sharing their “I dos” in simplicity with only a few select loved ones. After the intimate ceremony in the moonlight, the couple had some fun with smoke bombs and sparklers (Broadway Bridal Sparklers), and then were welcomed onto the dance floor where the Dj (Powell Weddings and Events) played their favorite songs. After they had danced their hearts out, it was time to cut the gorgeous cake (Maile Cake Design). This one-of-a-kind cake is detailed with sugar flowers and it made the perfect touch to the garden theme. You could say it was the icing on the cake.
