Wedding Date on Jul 5, 2019

While they shared mutual friends, Andrew and Summer had very few interactions in high school. Upon graduating in 2007, Andrew from Jesuit and Summer from Rio Americano, the two ventured off to college. A decade later, the two reconnected at a mutual friend's wedding. Seizing an opportunity, Andrew approached Summer, and told her, "I noticed you when you walked in..." It was apparent that Summer didn't recognize him, but was immediately intrigued by his charm. While dancing, Andrew explained to Summer that he had just moved to Redding to pursue a career opportunity. Acknowledging to herself that this wasn't destined, Summer didn't let her disappointment prevent her from enjoying the wedding and dance partner. After a week of texting, Summer decided to visit Andrew in Redding, with the encouragement from her sister, Marisa and best friend, Chelsie, "I mean, what do you have to lose?" It's safe to say, nothing was lost! A year later, Andrew proposed to Summer in the exact spot they had their first date overlooking the Sacramento River on the Sundial Bridge in Redding.
