Mark: In 2015, I happened to go on facebook and a BEAUTIFUL face showed up on my "suggested friends." Based on 100 mutual friends, Facebook thought it was in my best interest to friend request Steph Brown. I did, and from the first message I sent her, and following her responses, I knew I met someone special, different, intelligent, captivating, career driven, thoughtful, and witty. I would later find out she was also compassionate, caring, loyal, and intentional. For these reasons I had a great feeling from day one that has proven to be the best gut decision of my life. Thank you Facebook! And the best of all - All of our first messages are saved on messenger :) Steph: In the summer of 2015 I had just moved to DC for an internship on the Hill. On the day that I moved out there I got a facebook message from a guy named "Mark Louie" who had friend requested me a few weeks earlier, and who I was hoping would message me, but hadn't at that point so when he did I was excited to have a conversation. In our first conversation we exchanged a lot of witty banter. We realized we were both half Latino and half Asian and started a great conversation that was a tip off to our relationship. That's when I first got a taste of Mark's great energy, kind heart, love of family, and awesome personality.
