Per Stephanie: "We met in college at Virginia Tech around our Sophomore year. We had similar friends and were kind of always around one another. It wasn't until a year later that he finally plucked up the courage to ask me out. We haven't been apart since (... going on 8 years!). Last June, we went down to Virginia Tech for a weekend. I thought we were just going to eat at some of our favorite places and walk around because it had been about 5 years since either of us had been back. While in the middle of campus on the drill field, he dropped to one knee and proposed. Both of our families were in on it! It was the most special day:)"
