This is their story
They met back in 2014 and where introduced by Steffany best friend. They were both still in college at the time (different universities) and kept in touch until they started dating in April of 2016.
Steffany story:
Right after our 5 year anniversary, we decided to go away for a weekend (2 weeks later) in Philadelphia, and little did I know that weekend we would be actually celebrating our engagement! I was completely caught off guard! We started the day off at a rooftop restaurant where we ate brunch and ordered a bottle of bubbly. After brunch we were walking through old town Philly on our way to another bar, so I thought, to keep the celebration going… but instead my fiancé took me down whats called “Alfreth’s Alley” which is the oldest street residence in Philadelphia. He knew how much I adored historic and charming sites, especially row homes in big cities. As we are walking down the alley admiring the beautiful townhomes and the brick street, I notice I am a bit ahead of my fiancé (easy for me to get carried away with breathtaking sceneries), I take a look behind me to see where he was, and there he was, down on one knee. I remember thinking “is this real” “my dreams are coming true”. So many thoughts ran through my mind as tears of pure joy ran down my cheeks as I stood in front of the love of my life. The weekend was perfect, and one I wish I could relive over and over.
Some things that we love to do is travel, try new restaurants/bars, but we also love to sit back and watch movies and shows together. We love to cook together and cook for company (we enjoy hosting family and friends).
