Stacey and I met at a park in the winter of 2013 on the day before New Years Eve. We spent New Years Eve together with a kiss at midnight and have been happy ever after since. The first song I wrote about Stacey in 2014 was called "Only You" and is the song we decided to use for our wedding video. Stacey and I are both very free spirited and spontaneous individuals so planning a traditional wedding seemed pretty unappealing to us. We both have a huge appreciation for all of the beautiful places, landscapes, sunsets, etc. that the world has to offer so we really liked the idea of getting married somewhere beautiful and unconventional. We got engaged on the beach at the same place we started dating and thought it would be really cool to get married in the mountains. We chose Rocky Mountain National park because it was the first vacation we ever went on together and agreed that it was one of the most beautiful places we could elope to. On October 5th, 2016 Stacey flew from Florida with her family and mine to meet me in the middle of my fall tour for an incredibly intimate and breathtaking elopement in the tops of the Rocky Mountains. I was lucky enough to have my twin brother perform the ceremony while our families joined us for our dream wedding. The most important advice we'd like to share with future brides and grooms is to follow your heart and do what YOU want to do when planning a wedding. At the end of the day this is YOUR wedding and you only get one, so you might as well make it exactly the way that you want to. It's easy to become overwhelmed by the opinions of your families and friends but you should never feel guilty about choosing the wedding you want. If you want to get married in your backyard, on a mountain, in a church, on skyscraper, etc. you should do it, your friends and families will more often than not support you in the end :) - Ty & Stacey
