Wedding Date on Sep 9, 2017

Amanda had just started a new job where she happened to be working with one of Spencer's best friend's little sister, Katie. Of course, they got around to Amanda's relationship status in conversation. Upon finding out she was single, Katie began the match making process by going through her list of possible suitors. Fortunately, Spencer happened to be at the top of the list. Katie gave Spencer her information and he took it from there. He recommended that they meet up for drinks at the Chuy's patio on a Sunday afternoon. Little did he know that patios and Mexican cheese dip were the keys to her heart. It was happily ever after from there on out. Ironically, they already had a venue booked for the wedding before they got engaged. However, Amanda still wanted the proposal to be a surprise but that was proving to be difficult since wedding plans were already underway. So Spencer contacted the owner, Sam, of The Wren's Nest with an idea to lure her to the venue so he could propose at the very place they were to be married. His idea was that Sam would contact Amanda to let her know that a recent storm had caused significant damage to the venue and he wanted them to come out to see if they still wanted to have the wedding there. He wisely informed Spencer that from his experience, Amanda might immediately die of a stress induced heart attack upon hearing this news and they'd never actually make it to the venue. So he proposed another idea. He told her that he had made some improvements to the bridal suite and he wanted to invite us along with some other couples to check it out. The plan worked perfectly. Upon arriving at the venue, Spencer immediately took Amanda to the barn loft, her favorite spot, and proposed. She was completely surprised. Spencer arranged for her best friend to be there to secretly take pictures. It all worked perfectly. Afterwards, he had a engagement party planned that was equally surprising.
