Wedding Date on Sep 22, 2018

Beginning with a proposal at the bakery below Will's apartment (yes, this bakery also created their wedding cake!), Sarah and Will began planning the wedding that would end their years of long distance. The first dreams their wedding planner heard were for "rows of trees" and deep jewel tone colors. Their ceremony space—a brick veranda off the Bridgeport Art Center—was filled with trees and draping to create a breathtaking backdrop. When guests moved inside to dinner, farm tables overflowing with cascading jewel toned florals greeted them. Since they are both extremely close with their families, they opted out of having a traditional bridal party. Sarah had all her girlfriends join her for a fun brunch in her suite the morning of the wedding, and then the two families joined the couple the rest of the afternoon for their photo tour around Chicago.
