In her initial e-mail to me, Sarah described her story with Sam: "We met in high school, he was a senior and I was a freshman. My best friends older sister is one of his best friends. So we always knew of each other. A year after I graduated college he reached out and we went on our first date. I got finished with our first date, ran to my car and texted my sister that I thought I’d marry him. He was just the nicest person I had ever met. The way he talked to our waiter and thanked him. The way he listened to me and asked questions. He is just the kindest person I know. Through this wedding planning process and Covid he has kept me grounded and reminded me of what’s really important. He is the calm to my chaos."
