Sarah + Nick first met in fourth grade... FOURTH! They have quite literally grown up together, shared so many firsts, & have navigated all the ups and downs that life tosses their way for almost 15 years. Celebrating with Sarah + Nick was one of the highlights of my summer. Sarah and I lived on the same hall at college 6 years ago and spent the year sharing a ton of laughs, a few tears, & a whole lot of stories with one another. I had the distinct joy of witnessing their love story change, grow, deepen & unfold over the years, so spending their wedding day with them was an absolute honor (not to mention a freaking blast!) Everything about their day was special. They tearfully shared handwritten vows tucked away in a stunning forest setting, one of Sarah's big brothers was their officiant (...like really, does it get any sweeter?) Their crowd was full of friends from elementary, middle, high school AND college. We filmed their portrait session at a gorgeous little spot on the water that has been special to their relationship all these years. There was not a SINGLE dry eye during their toasts. And of course, it was hilarious & adorable to see photos of them in the awkward middle school phase, at their high school prom, engagement photos & everything in-between scattered throughout their reception hall. It was a very special day, indeed.
