When I got on a call with Sarah + Ben I felt an immediate connection to them. We share a mutual love for Christ, music, and animals. I also fell in love with them because Ben proposed to Sarah at Downton Disney and I am a huge fan of all things Disney. Let’s just say - it was a match made in heaven! I was so excited to work with them + Anna to make their wedding day as magical as possible. I get emotional at weddings, but rarely do I cry… Sarah + Ben’s wedding was the exception. They downsized their original wedding plans to comply with COVID guidelines, but the outpouring of love was ginormous! Sarah walked down the aisle to one of the most romantic tunes, La Vie en Rose. During the ceremony, Ben led everyone in singing the beloved hymns “Come Thou Font” and “Come To The Altar”. Their mothers lit unity candles. Their grandmothers and bridal party prayed over them. After the ceremony, they just held each other and cried. Everyone there felt a spirit. Everyone there could feel their love for Jesus and for each other. They really found the one who their soul loved. What a treasure! Sarah + Ben celebrated with a drive-by reception and catered Chick-fil-a (my absolute favorite fast food). The Best Man and Maid of Honor gave some of the best speeches I think I have heard. They shared joyful dances with their parents and continued to dance the night away under a blanket of twinkle lights and stars. To end the night their guests sent them off with glow sticks. It was major Disneyland Main Street Electrical Parade vibes.
