From The Bride: Levi and I met in college (2011), we both had the same drawing class and he honestly seemed too cool for me. We had no interest in each other at the time because we both were in serious relationships. A year or so later he messaged me on Facebook to ask me if he were to dress up like the Frisch’s Big Boy would they give him a free sandwich. (I was a server at this restaurant at the time.) From there on we were pretty cool friends, we interacted on multiple social media sites. We both ended up in very crappy relationships that only lasted three to four months and once we got out of it we bonded over those relationships and still continued to be best friends. Then one day he asked me to go to the apple store with him to get his cousins iPod fixed. He bought me dinner at the mall and we just hung out. When driving back from the Kenwood mall I let my guard down and talked about some rough stuff going on in my life. Little did we know how much we had in common, Levi put his hand on my leg to console me as I cried. We still remained friends after that and pretty much did everything together. I think everyone knew before us that we should of just been dating, but we didn’t get the hint until April 2nd, 2014 that we were perfect for one another. When planning our wedding Levi and I knew we wanted to do black and gold as our colors. I’m a huge fan of movies and The Great Gatsby is my all time favorite. I tried to style the wedding similar to the style of the movie. It’s a very modern version of a vintage story. We wanted to remain untraditional, Levi and I aren’t fancy, we just wanted a beautiful day to celebrate with our friends and family.
