Wedding Date on Dec 31, 2016

From The Bride: Kyle and I met on match.com. I was only on the site for a week when he liked my picture, so I messaged him. He was the only person I made any contact with. We emailed for a week and met up for a drink that turned into a 4-hour dinner. We were dating for a year when he proposed late one Saturday night in the parking lot of a local hospital where his dad was receiving hospice care for colon cancer. We got to share the good news with his dad, who passed away 2 days after we got engaged. We were married on New Year's Eve at the church where his parents were married, where my husband and his brother and sister were baptized, and where his dad's ashes are now interred. The day was absolutely perfect and was capped off by ringing in 2017 with a fireworks show that rivaled what you see on the Fourth of July.
