From The Bride: Travis and I met in the Summer of 2011 when we were 17. We were campers at Camp Lone Star, a summer camp that we had both gone to since we were 8 years old. We spent two weeks serving together in the Texas Summer heat, not knowing that we were bound for much more than just raking and cleaning together. This was long before we started dating, but this laid the foundation for what was to come. God knew what he was doing. We started dating officially in March of 2014, but had secretly liked each other for a while! For the first year of our relationship, we were long distance. We would travel four hours to see each other every two to three weeks. We had summers in between of working at Camp Lone Star together, making it even harder to go our separate ways back to school. Being long distance made getting to spend time with each other, that much better. After college, I moved to Austin to be closer to Travis. After almost 3 years of dating, he finally popped the question! He proposed at the LBJ Wildflower Center and it was as beautiful and perfect as I had always dreamed it would be. Praise be to God and Pinterest, planning for the wedding was so relaxing and stress free! That day was so magical and perfect. Everything fell into place and the day ran so smoothly. Truly, the best day of our lives.
