From the bride: "We have known each other since grade school in Connecticut as his sister and I were friends. David and I never thought about each other in a way other than he was my friend's younger brother! Fast forward to March 2019 when his sister got married, and David and I spent the whole wedding weekend together ! We dated long distance for over a year (Houston to Dallas) and most of our "dates" happened halfway between at his family's ranch.
There were so many weekends where we just got to go on rides in the mule, do puzzles, play pool and cook together! We got to know each other so deeply as we were able to do simple things together and "live life together" at the ranch. Most of the time when we said goodbye, we would give each other a letter to read when we got home. It was so special to have something to hold when David wasn't there. And now it is something we look back on and it is so fun to see God's faithfulness, read memories and see how our love for the Lord and one another has grown.
So fast forward to when David was finally able to move up here to Dallas, we got engaged (at the ranch!!!!)! He had a photographer there taking the most beautiful photos in one of my favorite places on Earth! They are so special as each spot (photo) holds so many memories of conversations, laughter, moments etc!
We have loved living in the same city and seeing each other most every day! It has been fun to go on date nights more regularly, watch church together, go out with other couples and just run errands together!!!"
