Samantha and Brendan recently had a beautiful wedding at The Doctor's House in Kleinburg. We really enjoyed capturing their Toronto wedding videography. Samantha and Brendan both grew up in the same hometown, and they both met through mutual friends. For Brendan, it was the first sight of love. However, Sam also likes him from the first meeting. After a few months of spending time together, they realised they were in love. They have been together for eight years. They moved on to a condo together four years ago and recently bought a house cooperatively in Stouffville, which they moved into next year. They both have been working from home in a tiny condo since COVID. They had loved spending so much time together, and they felt like the more time they spent together, the deeper they fell in love.
They got engaged in 2020 near their family cottages. They took a portaging trip with Brendan’s dad – 7 hours canoeing and hiking through the Canadian wilderness. Interestingly, Samantha was carrying her engagement ring in her backpack the whole time, and she did not know. Brendon wants to propose to Samantha. Because of his father, he could not say the word of love to Samantha. So Brendan deliberately said to his father to take their photo from the hillside, and amazingly, his dad was ready. Now he got time to propose to Samantha. He succeeds. Also, they had a great video of that great moment.
Their perfect date was at the cafe on the cliffs of Santorini at sunset. With the sipping of Aperol and eating olives. They both are Italian, and they love to eat new style food and drinks. Samantha is great at cooking and loves traveling. They are both very family-oriented. Often their parents will hang out with each other without them even knowing, and they find out on Instagram after the fact. They both works desk job.
A lovely day of their wedding, at The Doctor's House wedding chapel. They had a mix between tradition and intimate wedding style. Their wedding colour theme was simple with white and green with gold accents. They had chosen this venue because it’s a beautifully romantic atmosphere. It’s also very convenient as they are staying in the house cottage. On-site the night before and the night of the wedding, Samantha can get ready in this house cottage. Everything was all available on-site. And especially their food was delightful and delicious. There was a live band which gave the wedding celebration joyful fun vibes!
Because of restrictions, they only had around 55 wedding guests, which were made up of their family members and friends. There were beautiful smilax vines wrapped around the pillars and above the dance floor and rustic wooden beams in the reception hall. The tall candles in glass vases on the tables with gold accents made for a beautiful classic feel. Brendan looked absolutely stunning in a traditional tuxedo with a white smoking jacket, patent leather shoes, combined with a classic black bow tie and suspenders. Whereas Samantha looks like an angelic bride in a slim fitting lace bridal dress. They had their first dance as husband and wife to “Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong – Cheek to Cheek”. Filming their wedding day was like capturing their love story of a romantic Hollywood movie.
We were so happy for Samantha and Brendan to have us capture their Toronto wedding with this beautiful classic Doctor’s House wedding videography. Thank you, Samantha and Brendan! Congratulations on your marriage!
