I’ve had the pleasure of working with Samana on a film about her poetry, so we were excited when she asked us to capture her nikkah ceremony. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the nikkah was done at home in Kleinburg, Ontario, but it was still beautiful - lot of floral decorations, very intimate moments and you could really feel the magic. No matter the size or the people, weddings are still a special and emotional day, so we created this film to really capture the day from how we saw it.

A spring wedding can be held anywhere, though you will want a venue that has an option for an indoor ceremony, unless you plan on renting a tent in case of inclement weather. When thinking of décor, take advantage of all the gorgeous flowers in bloom like peonies, cherry blossoms, tulips or daffodils.

When we think spring wedding, we immediately think lush florals and soft pastels like lavender, sky blue, peach and butter yellow. Some popular wedding styles in spring include soft romance, vintage, rustic and whimsical weddings.

If you are leaning toward a spring wedding, you're in luck because it's not nearly as popular a season for weddings as summer and fall. You're much more likely to get lower prices on your venue and other wedding vendors.
