Where do we begin? We flew to Thailand to capture Sage and Brett's magical elopement. The couple left the locations to us and the photographer to select. The Dana and our team scouted to find a time of the day with epic light and the least amount of tourism. As we were using a fairly popular beach, we knew we had to arrive early. The wake up call was at 3am! We took a long tail boat to the beach. This was arranged the night before, the driver didn't understand why anyone would want to be up so early. When we embarked the boat, it was pitch black out- dark! Due to our bad ass cameras, you can see the first look before the embarked on the boat. We were treated to the most beautiful ride during sunrise. After we wrapped up the ceremony, we had breakfast with the couple and dropped them back at their hotel to cool off and enjoy the pool all afternoon. The hottest part of the day is not a time of the day any couple wants to be shooting in! We then headed out for some romantic footage of the couple back at the beach and in the water. From there their amazing friend and also officiant managed to find the most authentic Thai restaurant for their cozy reception dinner. We shared a family style dinner of epic proportions. The film truly showcases the couples love for each other, their deep connect and love of travel. We feel so lucky to have captured their elopement along side The Dana.
