Sabrina and Wallace's vows are quintessential of what wedding vows should be. We put so much pressure on ourselves to have the perfect wedding and say the perfect things, and Sabrina realized that. “In preparation for today I've read vows by other couples, I've researched different quotes and definitions of love, and listened to numerous love songs because I wanted to say something extra deep and complex," Sabrina began her vows. "I knew I would be in the company of some of Memphis' greatest pastors and preachers, and I wanted to impress our guests with my words. But then I just stopped researching, and I simply thought of you. I realized I didn't have to be deep and complex because you make everything for me simple and easy." I LOVE the story Sabrina told next in her wedding vows: It's the story of when she knew she wanted to marry Wallace. "We were in college, hungry, and we had nothing. You gathered just enough money to get one Whopper and one small drink. You told me to go to the counter and order my food. And once I was done you took my receipt and you called the number on the back so you could complete the survey so you could get a free Whopper combo." We all laughed because it's an honest look into their relationship and the types of moments we've all experienced. We've all gone through challenging times with our spouse; in the end we've all found a way to get through it and maybe even laugh at it down the road. These real, honest moments are what make a couple beautiful and what gives them a beautiful story to tell. "Through crazy times, lack of funds, and distance, you were there," Wallace began his vows, "For the last 11 years you've accepted me for me. You allowed me into your family's lives and there's nothing but more and more love shown year after year. The love you show my family couldn't be more genuine; you embraced my daughter when she could barely walk. You know I wouldn't be me if I couldn't go back to my musical roots: My granddaddy said it best in the 1968 cut, 'I got a sure thing with my baby.' Baby, let me be your sure thing."
