What’s your love story? How did you meet originally and get together? Adam and I met in New York in June 2015 and became inseparable almost immediately. 10 months later we moved in together, and 3 months after that we picked up and moved to Los Angeles for a job opportunity. In LA we lived on the beach and adopted our sweet chihuahua Amelia. After a fun year exploring the West Coast of the US, we moved back to New York with Amelia, where we planned our wedding and honeymoon trip of a lifetime. How did the proposal go, if there was one? The proposal was magical. We arrived in Budapest and were in awe of the beauty of the city as we walked around. We crossed over the bridge onto Margaret Island, and rented bikes to ride through the gorgeous gardens. We arrived in the Japanese Gardens at the back of the island and got off our bikes to explore and take pictures. In front of the waterfall and pond, Adam got down on one knee and proposed. It wasn’t until after I processed what was happening, that I noticed a photographer behind him, capturing the perfect moment. Could you sum up your wedding in a couple of sentences – how would you describe the look and feel of the day, the vibe, Our wedding/elopement was romantic, fun, personal, beautiful, and happy. The lemon tree floral arch brought the classic wedding beauty, the incredible city of Positano brought the most magical breathtaking backdrop, and being one on one with Adam all day made it so focused and intimate. What was important to you about your wedding- what were your priorities from the very beginning? First and foremost, we wanted to elope somewhere beautiful with a spectacular view and and unique atmosphere. Also, it was important that I found a dress that made me feel comfortable and like an Italian bride! What made your venue “the one”? The terrace! And the honeymoon suite with the private pool in it. And of course the phenomenal staff that helped with our vision every step of the way. What made the day really special and personal to you? (things you included, unusual elements, things that people made or did for you etc) One extra special element of our wedding was that I brought along to Italy a piece of the fabric of the blue dress I wore on our very first date. Another special element was writing our own vows. We both were very emotional reading our vows and hearing what each other wrote. What advice would you give to brides and grooms planning their day? Plan the way how you envision it! Don’t let anyone else’s opinions or expectations cloud your dream day. Where did you go/are you planning on going on honeymoon? We stayed in Positano for a week after our wedding, then went to Tuscany and Barcelona for another week and a half.
