Our love story begins like any great love story does... I challenged him in drinking.(haha) Lets say this didn't turn out too well for me. Over the months we hung out more and more. Our friends pestered us that we needed to date, but we were in denial. Once we finally came to our senses, (and Rob finally got the guts to ask me out on a real date) our story began. The first date consisted of Woodstone pizza, video games, and staying up till dawn drinking beer and talking about life. This is where I have to give a shoutout to one of my best friends Devon Wallace. After our first date, I remember Devon and I discussing how it went. Immediately she said "You two are going to get married, just watch." I was trying to act tough and brushed it off, but we made a bet on it. She bet that in 2 years that if Rob and I were engaged that I would owe her a huge steak dinner. I clearly bet against her because my thoughts were that I would never be lucky enough to marry a guy as amazing as Rob! Well here we are two years later and I now owe her that steak dinner. (Thanks Devon haha) The last two years have been full of adventures, laughs, and amazing memories. We hit it off immediately. I quickly knew that not only would Rob become my best friend, he would become the absolute love of my life. The moment I knew Rob was the man I would marry was when he met my family. Only a few months into us dating and within minutes he was part of the family. He almost fit in TOO well. Whenever he comes around the family my mom and I have to give a bedtime to my dad and him to make sure they don't stay up until 7am haha! Long story short, Rob was part of the family the minute he met them. Let's fast forward to the proposal: Eureka springs became rob and I's weekend getaway, so it was only fitting that it was done there. Rob and I had talked about going to see Thorncrowne Chapel the next time we went to Eureka Springs, so when we went to visit there, I had no idea what was to come next. June 24, 2017 the love of my life proposed and the rest is history!! I can't believe I get the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. People always say that, and it sounds super cliche, but it's completely true.
