The opening scene for this wedding film shows an Instagram reel that was posted last April 2021, on Good Friday. Rafael (future groom) was singing and playing guitar at a local church event and his brother-in-law captured the moment. I was told that Jahadai (future bride) was browsing Instagram and Rafael's profile showed up as the "People you may know" option on the app.
Jahadai, saw the reel of Rafael and fell in love with the boldness of this young man, and loved how he just carried himself. She told me he imminently inspired her and gave hope to her, as she had been struggling with the lost of her mother due to cancer a few years back.
The story goes on with Jahadai sending Rafael a friend request and Rafael accepting. They being to talk and exchange numbers and became really close friends. Well, 10 months later they are married, happily enjoying their daily life with one another as they continue to grow and become one.
Another note to this video, towards the end you will hear a faint voice. That faint voice is Jahadai's mother's who, once again, had passed from cancer. She is speaking in Spanish, one of her favorite Bible verses.
I hope you enjoyed it!
