Wedding Date on Sep 25, 2020

During our planning sessions, I often like to ask my couples how they knew they had found “the one”. As I sat in a coffee shop with Rachel and Matt, they both reflected on the question and gave me some brilliant answers. Rachel even became teary-eyed! Upon returning home that night, I received an email from Matt. It turns out that he had spent the ride home thinking about my question, and wanted to give me a more thoughtful answer. Here’s what he wrote: “Since the day Rachel and I started dating, she's made me a very happy man. I have never met anyone with more energy and enthusiasm. She is calculated and methodical, but also silly (in many cases I feel like I already know what our daughter would sound like), hilarious (I thought I was funny but I think she's funnier) and so much fun (cue dancing in the kitchen and letting the broccoli burn). She is a warm, sensitive, passionate soul. These and so many more are the reasons I love Rachel and know she is the one! Before meeting her my number one "fear" in life was not finding the right fit for me. Meeting Rachel, my teammate, has thoroughly vanquished this fear.” This wedding film was one of my favourites to edit: not only are Rachel and Matt gorgeous human beings inside and out, but their personal vows had me (and just about everyone else in attendance at their ceremony) crying happy tears!
