From the Bride: We first met thousands of miles away from Chicago, on the opposite side of the country, mutual friends brought us together if only for a moment. What originally seemed like a random encounter, eventually led to a friendship back at home. We took time getting to know each other while sharing our love for music, sports and adventure. Our friendship slowly turned into romance in August of 2014. Our engagement came during a family vacation to Costa Rica. We were celebrating the 65th wedding anniversary of Aaron’s grandparents! He knew in his heart that this vacation would be the perfect opportunity to propose. Under the guise of taking family photos on the beach at sunset, Aaron took the chance to ask me to marry him.
