Pat and Kaleigh had a huge wedding planned at Brophy Chapel and the reception at Paradise Valley Country Club with 230 guests at the end of March! Due to COVID-19, they had to change plans quickly. They decided to postpone their large gathering to October 2021 and ended up having a beautiful backyard wedding with just their parents and siblings. Through everything, Pat & Kaleigh remained so positive and in the end, their special day was all about their deep love for each other. We are so lucky to have captured this intimate and emotional evening.

The Good Vibe Media is a team of female filmmakers that produce high quality video for weddings, brand and events. We love to shoot weddings in a documentary style to capture all of the authentic moments - the happy tears, laughs, intimate moments, wild moves on the dance floor. We work as a fly on the wall to preserve these memories for our couples to cherish and share with their family and friends as they build their life together!

We are Steve and Heather and we are a filmmaking couple! We have been together almost our whole lives and our communication as a team is pretty much seamless! For our couples, that means that we are ninja-like on a wedding day, with a quiet and calm vibe! We shoot and edit, so everything is done by us personally. WE NEVER OUTSOURCE! That is important because we really take the time to know your story, to make sure we understand it and to tell it with beautiful images and the authenticity of real sound, set to amazing soundtracks. Your film is a custom piece of art made with love, just for you!

We’re Alex and Jim. We met working together as visual journalists one hot summer in Phoenix, Arizona. We fell in love making documentaries, kept making them for awhile all over the country (and West Africa), then decided to make movies together forever and got hitched. To put it simply, we love what we do and we love doing it together.

Step 1: Conceptualize the most quintessentially Austin theme a wedding could have. Step 2: Gather the most incredible vendors local to the area to bring the theme to life. Step 3: Find an adorable couple to renew their vows in front of a bunch of strangers. We had so much fun at The Big Fake Wedding Austin!

Two brides find their 'happily ever after' in this twisted fairy tale wedding. The vision for this inspiration shoot was anything but traditional – modern touches in a rustic, woodland space turn the classic fairy tale on its head. Tons of candles, moss and twinkly lights bring magic to a gorgeous ceremony site, while a dark jewel tone color palette with gold flatware makes for an elegant and unique tablescape. Our brides share a dance in a romantic courtyard for a dreamy end to a beautiful night.

Alex grew up in Southern California, but has also lived in Phoenix, Arizona, Boston, Massachusetts and Rome, Italy. Her passion for cinematic storytelling began when she was earning her master’s degree from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University. She produced video journalism for The Boston Globe, where she won an Emmy Award for a story about sexual assault survivors. Her work has appeared on HBO, The Boston Globe, Center for Public Integrity, and The Today Show, among others. When Alex is not running the business she enjoys snuggling with her black lab, Dandy, building elaborate lego displays and tap dancing.

Jim grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, but has also lived in Phoenix, Arizona, Boston Massachusetts and Monrovia, Liberia. He has been a visual storyteller for more than 10 years and works for Resolve Magazine as a multimedia producer in addition to Huckleberry Wedding Films. He graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and worked as a newspaper reporter in Virginia and Pennsylvania for four years before pursuing a master’s degree in Multimedia, Photography & Design at Syracuse University. His work has been published by The New York Times, The Player’s Tribune, The Dallas Morning News and National Public Radio, among others. When Jim is not telling stories, he loves exploring the natural world, learning to play the banjo and watching historic documentaries.
