It was a Saturday in a very hot July, in the alleys of Lucca there was a constant buzz of tourists. One of the things that Beatrice particularly cared about was to let her guests visit some of the most characteristic places in the historic centre of her city. So, after celebrating the rite in the church of San Pietro Somaldi, we walked towards Palazzo Pfanner which, in addition to being the set of many famous films, became the ideal setting for Paolo and Beatrice, a true daydream.
