Nicole and Sean’s wedding was a celebration of joy, spontaneity and connection—a juxtaposition of playfulness and tradition just like the couple themselves. It was important to the couple that they honored their day in a way that felt authentically them without feeling too stuffy or rigid. The beautifully restored M&D Farm was the perfect setting for their earthy eclectic wedding with its wildflower fields and antique touches. Nicole and Sean’s chemistry is undeniable. Watching them interact and hearing them talk about each other, you can already see them growing old together and never losing that fire—as Nicole put it, “you are one of the most humble, genuine, handsome men I have ever met and your looks are only matched by your heart.” From their first look surrounded by black eyed susans to their joint performance kicking off reception, Nicole and Sean create magic together. The wedding day was warm and breezy, a perfect late summer Saturday in upstate New York. The most important thing to the couple was the experience of their family and friends. They wanted guests to not only feel Nicole and Sean’s love for each other, but the love they have for everyone there. The ceremony was intimate, held in one of M&D Farm’s lush gardens. Nicole and her bridesmaids carried loose hand-tied bouquets featuring locally grown dahlias in muted earthy colors. Sean’s uncle acted as officiant as the couple read personal vows to each other. After the ceremony concluded, the couple and their guests enjoyed dining al fresco in the gardens and then taking the party indoors to dance the night away.
