Wedding Date on Jul 7, 2019

This is the story of my very best friend. I will write it since if I asked her to do it I would get a very polished, short and sweet story without any of the agony and fun that actually went into their love story coming to fruition. Also, I will do this without getting myself into trouble, because she is a very private person. Good luck to me!!! First of all, I love this girl. She has a pure kind heart, is rational, interesting, great with money, smarter than most everyone I know, emotional intelligent, and has ethics and integrity that are rare these days. She had all but given up on love (and who wouldn't!) and didn't believe that anyone could honor her need for independence while also being good hearted, logical, smart, and fun to be around. Nor did she think if this mythical being existed, that she could like him, that he could love her, and that they could be happy together. BOY was she wrong!! Not only did this guy exist-- he was crazy about her. They were friends, I think probably everyone on planet earth knew that he was crazy about her (it was so obvious) and she was absolutely oblivious bordering on complete denial. Luckily we were steadily becoming better and better friends and I was watching this whole magnificent thing unfold before my eyes. I tried to reassure her and she constantly told me I was making things up that just weren't there. I persisted. I even went so far as to tell her that I was going to give the speech at their wedding. Well I gave the speech at their wedding so I can finally say it-- told ya so!!!!!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO The love these two share is absolutely heart melting. As they started to realize it was not only real but also requited, they started to become mushier and mushier in their day to day lives. Andrew-- the beacon of cold sterile logic and reason, became one of the most tender, warm, funny people-- right before my eyes!! Nicole, for her part, become softer and starting calling my daughter "kiddo" (which she absolutely loves). Everyone noticed. And we are all celebrating what love can do to soften and heal people and make the world a better place. So happy it happened to my best friend. It couldn't have come to two better people. This is their wedding film!!
