District Winery is a stunning urban winery and wedding venue located in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, DC. Built in 2017, this venue boasts an elegant modern design with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Anacostia River. The spacious interior features contemporary industrial touches such as exposed brick and beams, polished concrete floors, and cascading chandeliers. The wine barrel-lined walls add a touch of rustic warmth to the space.  The venue's main event space, the Winery, can accommodate up to 200 guests and is perfect for a wedding reception. It features a glass-enclosed mezzanine that overlooks the barrel room and provides a beautiful backdrop for photos. The outdoor terrace is another enchanting location to host cocktail hour or an intimate ceremony as guests can appreciate the beautiful views of the river. Apart from the exquisite setting, District Winery is also an excellent wedding venue because it produces its own wine, which guests can enjoy throughout the reception. The on-site catering team, led by Executive Chef Benjamin Lambert, is experienced in creating delicious and tailored menus to suit all styles of weddings.
