We met Monet and Harry at The National Wedding show in Birmingham, UK and got on instantly, and so were really excited when a few days later they booked us to both film and photograph their wedding and so we had a team of four to capture the day.
The wedding venue was on Harry's family farm in Warwickshire UK in a stunning countryside location. As with all venues we haven't shot at before, we went to visit prior to the wedding and were even more excited for the day when we saw it in person - although they assured us that there wouldn't be hundreds of sheep would be spending the wedding day in a different area of the farm!
Just three weeks before the wedding we had a message from the couple that read: "Don't worry but..." and pictures of a huge fire and scorched ground followed. In the near 40degree Celsius heat of July, there had been a fire In the yard at the farm.
Fortunately the wind was blowing in the 'right direction' which meant fortunately - nobody was hurt, no animals were lost and the wedding would be able to go ahead as planned.
From capturing the bridal prep at a beautiful little cottage close by right through to the superb party on the evening with a great ceremony and the most incredible sunset in between, it was the most incredible day. Monet and Harry were so relaxed and their family and friends so welcoming and fun - it really was an incredible day!
