Miriam and Matt chose to spend their three day wedding celebration in the beautiful surroundings of the UK Lake District, a special place for the couple, somewhere they retreat from the bustle of their hectic London lives to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the spectacular lakes and surrounding ares.
Their wedding celebrations started with a drinks reception on the terrace over looking Lake Windermere, which was the location for the boat cruise throughout the afternoon, with a champagne afternoon tea as the guests sailed on the Lake. Mirian and Matt then took a row boat out on Linthwaite House's private tarn (a small local mountain lake) before heading to the hotel terrace where guests enjoyed a BBQ created by the team at Henrock, the newest restaurant owned by triple Michelin starred, world renowned chef, Simon Rogan.
Miriam and Matt's wedding featured many sections of Mirian's Jewish heritage, with an outdoor Chuppah over looking the Lake. Miriam's and Matt's Ketubah was designed around Windermere and the Lake District and blended their love for the area with their ambitions for the future and was presented to them by Miriam's father, who as a Rabbi, conducted the ceremony, making this a beautiful and personal celebration of their love.
Their wedding breakfast was again created by the world class team at Henrock and the party lasted long into the evening. Their photography was shot by one of the world's leading wedding photographers, Jeff and Sarah Ascough (Leica ambassador) who have shot for celebrities, business leaders and Royalty.
