Wedding Date on Apr 3, 2021

Jerry & MIchelle met in the Summer of 2014. Michelle had just graduated from college in Pennsylvania and moved to Central California. Jerry, who is in the Air Force, was stationed in Central California. At the time, her oldest brother Matt was the only person she knew in CA (and the person who convinced her to up and leave PA). Matt let her tag along and hang out with him and his friends so they were at a BBQ when all of a sudden, some guy walks through the front door and everyone yells "Jerryyyy!" She was like.. who? They started chatting that night and the rest is history. They didn't plan on dating because Jerry was scheduled to move to another assignment with the Air Force just a few months. But.. they kept hanging out and one thing led to another and they dated long distance for two years. He had only moved to Northern California so they spent much of the next two years in their cars driving to see each other on weekends. Three years into their relationship they decided that she should move up north, so she did. A year later, they moved to Arizona and have been here ever since! Much of their time together has been apart, whether it was long distance in the beginning or one of the many deployments Jerry has been on overseas. Because of that, they have a genuine appreciation for their time spent together. They got engaged in October 2019 & spent two weeks in Europe, where Jerry toted the engagement ring around in his fanny pack the entire time but... never ended up proposing! He said there wasn't a perfect moment so they arrived back home in AZ and two weeks later, went to Sedona to go hiking. During our hike, he proposed! They had been to Sedona several times before and loved it so his proposal was perfect
