How We Met (Michaelas Perspective): Zach's best friend Ben worked with my best friend Meredith in Atlanta. Zach was living there after college, and I had just moved back from Seattle when Covid started. We were introduced through Ben and Meredith and became part of the same friend group that summer. Since it was Covid times, we were working from home and spending a ton of time with that core group of friends. Before we started officially dating, we planned and went on a 7-day vacation in Hawaii together, knowing we'd come back hating each other or super close. Thankfully it was the latter :) Favorite Things to Do: We love to cook together, travel and plan trips, go for walks, go to sporting events / watch sports together, relax and binge good shows, go out to dinners, hang with friends and family -- we are basically attached at the hip :) Why We Love Each Other: - Michaela: I love Zachary for a million reasons! He is the funniest person I know, he is kind and brilliant and incredibly thoughtful. He takes such good care of me and is my rock during hard times. He is brave, he shows up for me and for all of his people (every time no matter what), and he shows me every day by example how to be my best self. - Zach: I love Michaela because she is my best friend in this world. She balances me out in all the right (and necessary) ways, and she is the kindest, most thoughtful, and most pure human being that I've ever met. She also shares my same sense of humor and always gives me the last bite of her food.
