With all of the ups and downs of 2020, Meaghan and Wells made the best of their big day after deciding to postpone their big wedding. On September 19th, 2020, they gathered along the coast of Nantucket and married in front of a small group of close friends and family. It was a beautiful ceremony despite the wild winds, which made for some breathtaking photographs. Family and friends who were unable to attend were able to tune into the ceremony via live stream provided by our videography team. Our production team has been finding that with smaller weddings, we have more time to capture the emotion and love between the couple and everyone around them. You can tell that Meaghan and Wells have something special, something that they knew pretty early on in their relationship. Having met back in 2015 at a holiday party through mutual friends, they immediately hit it off. They eventually had their first date at Lolita in the Back Bay and had an amazing time. From the beginning, Wells was extremely honest with Meaghan, confessing his undying love for surfing and that when the waves call, he must go. I think Meaghan respected his honesty and admired him for his passion and adventure. At the end of the day, these two live for adventure. This thread seems to be what ties them together. They have hiked the tops of mountains together in 60mph winds and have lived all over the country, skiing and surfing. Honestly, could you find a cooler couple!? When we asked them what their favorite memory from their wedding day was, they both said their first dance, which was to “Mexico” by James Taylor. It’s their favorite song, anytime they hear it they stop what they’re doing and dance together. Meaghan and Wells, we wish you nothing but the best and a lifetime of adventure together.
