As May 19th approached, we weren't sure if the weather was going to hold out for us. It had been raining for what seemed like forever, and it was still barely drizzling as I drove out to western MD for Jeff & Meaghan's big day. "We really didn't want it to rain, and it rained this morning which they said is a good thing, but right now it's not raining." Jeff told me. "[Meaghan's] dad was saying how her mom, who passed away, is pulling some strings up there to make sure the rain doesn't come, and she definitely is. It's really cool to see the weather holding out." Through all of the hiccups - the uncertainty of the rain, a friend in labor, a groomsman fender bender - Jeff & Meaghan stayed calm. They both told me they were just so excited to be together with the people who matter most to them. "I fell in love pretty fast - it didn't take long at all," Jeff said. "I knew she was the one within a few months, but I knew she was special the first time we met." "I knew Jeff was the one about eight months into our relationship - we took our first plane trip together to Colorado for my friend's wedding. Seeing how he so seamlessly fit right in with my friends and has this thirst for adventure, I knew that I never wanted to be without him!" Meaghan gushed. It was so much fun to work with Jeff & Meaghan. They were so kind and generous, and everyone around them already knew what I was witnessing - they work so well together. The way Jeff asked how Meaghan was doing while they got ready (and didn't want her to know about some of the small setbacks along the way) and while texting her asked, "Is this allowed?" The way both of their faces lit up as Meaghan came down the aisle. The way they held themselves through the entire day only confirmed what this wedding was truly celebrating. "I had to lie to Meaghan so many times that day," Jeff said regarding the proposal. "Where we were going, what we were doing, who we were having dinner with. I even had to pretend there was something wrong with the car because for some reason there was no traffic on a Friday afternoon. I was ahead of schedule and the photographer wasn't there yet. But the proposal went without a hitch. It was such a surreal feeling, but there was no doubt in my mind she'd say yes!" "Jeff totally blew me away with the entire set up," Meaghan remembers. "Romantic location, a photographer to capture the moment, dinner with family and close friends after. He really wanted it to be special for me and boy did he deliver!"
