Wedding Date on Feb 22, 2020

Meagan & Anthony were crazy enough to do a 13 mile Spartan mud run and ended up meeting on the mountain covered in mud when a hurricane kept all the runners inside about 7 miles into the race. Meagan struck up a conversation with Anthony and at the end of the race pretended not to have her cellphone. She asked him to take a picture of her and her friend, and then gave him her number to send the picture to. SMOOTH! Meagan & Anthony decided to do the Tough Mudder on their 6th year anniversary. It was in Pittsburgh, so Meagan thought it would also be a great way to visit her Grampap who lives there. They ran the 5 mile race and Anthony kept joking that he had a rock stuck in his shoe and Meagan being oblivious, just kept saying "then take it out!" At the end of the race, Anthony sneakily snuck away while Meagan was already on the last obstacle. When she slid down the slide thinking it was just the end of the race, Anthony helped her out of the muddy pool and told Meagan she was the best thing to ever happen to him, got down on one knee in front of thousands of people and asked her to marry him. The Tough Mudder staff got the whole thing on video, and Meagan was speechless. Then, after they walked out, her parents were there to surprise Meagan. They had driven all the way from New Jersey to be there for this moment. Apparently Anthony had been planning this for months, and his proposal was absolutely amazing.
