I (Bonnie) started Bonnie Newman Creative in 2016 after filming a friends wedding as a hobby. Pretty damn quickly, people wanted me at their weddings, and in 2017 I left my career in architecture to film weddings full time. I met Jon 10 years ago working at IKEA together, and our lives circled back around to each other in 2018, when we joined forces and added dope photography to our packages. Architects literally dream about the beautiful and emotional ways their buildings and spaces get used. Well, I get to cut through all the BS and red tape of designing a building, and get right to the beautiful and emotional stuff. I'm a huge fan of weddings that take advantage of stunning architecture, and couple's who aren't afraid to give me all the goods. The crying, laughing, emotional vows, hidden easter eggs, and LIT parties...I'm here for that. Let's make something epic together.

We booked Mars and The moon Films for our beach wedding and we couldn't have asked for a better team.  Both Bonnie and Jon are super personable, very professional and down to earth.  We immediately felt super comfortable with them during our first initial meeting via zoom and knew we had to booked them.  The day of the wedding they arrived on time and made everyone feel super comfortable.  They kept us on schedule, gave us ideas on how to pose and the pictures are out of this world amazing.

Where do we even begin?! From the moment we met Bonnie and Jon, we knew they were perfect for us! Most importantly on our wedding day, they made sure to capture all the wonderful moments, big and small. The greatest thing we did was make them our photographer/videographer! I first found my love for videography in high school, back when point and shoot camera’s and webcams were my methods of choice (please tell me I’m not the only one). So when I started college at The University of South Florida St. Petersburg, I majored in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism and took as many video storytelling courses that I could. It was through these classes that I realized, that was exactly what I loved about video - telling stories! Especially real ones. When I shoot your wedding, you will get all of me the whole way through. I will be the one getting the details leading up to your day, and I will be the one who is there to capture one of the most important days of your life. Your wedding film is more than dreamy footage of you & your significant other looking amazing, (although that's part of it;), it's about telling the raw and real story of your love. That's what makes me happiest, to tell your real love story.I will forever call Florida home and shoot all over the St.Pete, Sarasota, Clearwater, Tampa, and Orlando areas. But I have a constant travel itch too. Some of my favorite places so far have been Colorado, North Carolina and Cannes, France!
