Wedding Date on Sep 25, 2020

From the bride: "So we actually met in Key West which is why we are getting married here! We were both on our school's spring breaks with friends (I was actually staying at the Casa Marina with my friends!) and bumped into each other at the bar on Duval named Rick's. I was dating another guy for 7 years and while we were driving to Key West from Mississippi, I told my friends I had never had a doubt and we planned to get married in a few years. I met Gil randomly in the bar and immediately knew. It was such a weird feeling I can't explain but right when we met I just knew he would be a huge part of my future. We chatted casually and I told him about how I was about to graduate and go to grad school at the University of Texas. He responded by saying "no way, I actually have an internship in Austin this summer." I didn't think I'd ever see him again, but we ran into each other at a public pool the next day and talked more. Both of our friend groups hung out that day a little bit, but no one knew that I was very interested in him. The last night we were there, we again ran into his friends at a bar. Even though we just casually talked, I didn't sleep a wink the last night we were there because I was so anxious about the feelings I had! Long story short, I broke up with my bf of 7 years when I got home. I was so upset about the breakup and moving that I didn't think at all about Gil also being in Austin. But of course, a few weeks after moving there, we ran into each other and discovered we were next door neighbors, and the rest is history! :)
