Wedding Date on Oct 26, 2019

Nicholas and Marissa met through their Matron of Honor, Ally Davis when in college. She talked Marissa into going to a Missouri State Hockey game with her and that's where she met Nick! A few weeks went by until Nick and Marissa really started to hit things off. Since then, they have been inseparable. They even went against both of their parent’s wishes and travelled to Springfield, in a snow storm that year for New Years Eve to have their “first New Years kiss” together. Six years (almost 7) later, Nick still lights up every room he walks into, makes Marissa laugh uncontrollably, and they pushes each other to be a better version of themselves through constant support and love. Nick proposed to Marissa after five and half years of dating on her family’s annual vacation. She had no idea that he had planned everything with Marissa's dad. Nick and Marissa both have a love for the outdoors and when Nick found a national park with a 50 foot waterfall, he knew he had found the perfect proposal spot. Dressed to sweat on a long hike, Nick set up the GoPro to take our picture in front of the beautiful waterfall and little did Marissa know, he switched the setting to video and captured the entire thing on camera for their families to later witness and celebrate!
